You can reserve space for your next event or meeting via Airbnb in the near future.

The short-term apartment rental company announced Friday the acquisition of Gaest.com, a Danish start-up offering meeting space rental services for periods ranging from a few hours to several days. Gaest will be part of Airbnb for Work, the company's project to enter the job market, according to his blog.

"We imagine a world where everyone can share their space for professional events," said in an article, David Holyoke, Global Head of Airbnb for Work.

Airbnb has gradually penetrated the business market. Last August, Airbnb renamed its business travel business and said that nearly 700,000 businesses have employees who sign up and book with Airbnb for work. In a blog post published in September, Airbnb announced that the company would engage in off-site meeting spaces, team work promotion experiences and professional relocation.
