Public health officials said that a case of measles had been confirmed in a resident of Multnomah County, where Portland resides.
The Oregon Health Authority announced on Friday that the agency was working with Multnomah and other agencies to inform people of their potential exposure and help them take action to avoid exposing them. Others if they became ill.
The contagious person visited Legacy GoHealth in Gresham and Fred Meyer at Wood Village on Sunday and Wednesday visited the Gresham Troutdale Family Medical Center in Troutdale and Walgreens Pharmacy in Troutdale.
No other cases of measles have been identified in Oregon.

The Clark County Public Health Unit in Vancouver, Washington, has reported 30 confirmed cases of measles since the beginning of the year.
Anyone who has never been vaccinated may get measles if they come into contact with a person who is contagious.
