Steve Agnew, badistant, revealed that Steve Bruce had taken advantage of his trip to the Caribbean to select the brain of English cricket coaches.
Agnew will take over Sheffield Wednesday for the last time against Chelsea on Sunday. Bruce will officially start next Friday after a break in the match after leaving Aston Villa.
Bruce, who did not take a break when he lost both his parents last year, accepted Wednesday's post Jan. 2, provided that he could still finish the this month's family vacation, including watching the first test against the Caribbean in Barbados.

Agnew said: "Steve went through a very difficult time last year and we all respect his privacy. He went to see the cricket team of England and it is not good to watch the last two days.
"But he spent time with the coaches and the players in the nets and what they do, how they do it. He's always looking for – although it's a different sport – how you handle certain situations.
