It was a show of deep traditions and culture, as was the new suzerain of the Dagbon Kingdom, Ya-Naa Mahama Abubakari, on Friday, January 25th.
The beautiful ceremony that took place at Gbewaa Palace in Yendi was the scene of the cream of the crop in Ghana's political landscape and personalities present.
As if this had been planned, many of these politicians present decided to wear the traditional costume of the Dagomba people, the blouses (batakari).
Under the guidance of the new Ya-Na himself, there was a plethora of gorgeous blouses that could easily qualify the festival's festival of blouses.
