Samsung will soon introduce a new Galaxy View tablet with a big screen. The first results of the Geekbench test show a poor score.

In 2015, Samsung launched the Galaxy View 18.4-inch tablet. This tablet will soon have a successor. Last September, the new Samsung tablet was already certified WiFi and Bluetooth SIG. This shows that the new tablet is named Galaxy View 2, model number SM-T927A.

Today, the Samsung SM-T927A has appeared in the Geekbench Browser database. So it is most likely the Samsung Galaxy View 2, a 17.5-inch Android tablet.

The benchmark shows that the Galaxy View 2 will run on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. The tablet is powered by the Exynos 7885 octa-core processor at 1.59 GHz with 3 GB of RAM. It will not be a very powerful tablet, it was not its predecessor either. A single-core score of 1,200 and a multicore score of 3987 will be achieved.

The previous model still had thick edges and a weight of 2.65 kg. The Android tablet received a suggested retail price of € 700. Chances are the new Samsung tablet on the MWC 2019 is on display.

In addition to the Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event, where the Galaxy S10 and the foldable smartphone will be shown, the Korean manufacturer will most likely hold a press conference a day before the show starts. The Samsung Galaxy View 2 will probably be revealed at that time. A new Galaxy Sport smart watch is also expected, and Samsung will announce the Galaxy Buds headset for its new S10 series. The MWC 2019 begins on February 25 and lasts until February 28, 2019.
