Dagbon's Overlord, newly installed Yaa-Na Abubakari Mahama II, spoke exclusively with Joy News after her big theatrical release on Friday, January 25th.
Addressing Judge Baidoo of Joy News at the renovated Gbewaa Palace, he called for an end to the rivalry between Abudus and Andanis over Nam's skin.
The 80-year-old was discovered Friday as the 44th occupant of the skin.
Speaking through an interpreter, the octogenarian told Dagbani that he was initiating peace and reconciliation talks between the two gates.
He is also committed to promoting unity in the kingdom.
He said he was confident that development can only take place in an atmosphere of peace and stability.
