Glbad star and X Men James McAvoy in the lead hosts the episode tonight Saturday Night Live. In anticipation of his debut as an organizer, McAvoy kept a video diary of the preparations until tonight.

The show then compiled the video clips into a single video of a duration greater than three minutes. The video can be seen in its entirety above.

McAvoy remains busy with the promotion of Glbad, released in theaters for its second week. As we approach, McAvoy will be in another blockbuster this summer in Fox's old X-Men: Dark Phoenix – One of the last two X-Men-based properties to be released before Fox is absorbed by Disney and the latter takes creative control of the characters.

The actor had previously expressed concern over the possibility that X-Men may or may not be included in the Marvel Studios film universe.

"I do not know if X-Men could enter the Marvel Universe, I'm not sure," McAvoy told Yahoo! "Maybe they could, but I think what's different from the Avengers universe is that you only have a few superheroes in the world." There are many, but it's worth two, you know what I mean?

"While in the X-Men world, you potentially say that there are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of [superheroes] and the social implication of this is different ".

The complete synopsis for Dark Phoenix can be found below.

"In Dark Phoenix, the X-Men are facing their most formidable and powerful enemy: one of them, Jean Gray.
