Naples News: Carlo Ancelotti deported for swearing in AC Milan draw

Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that he had been expelled from the 0-0 draw between Naples and AC Milan for swearing but insisted that he had not directed his curse on the referee.

The 59-year-old was fired from the canoe in the second period of injury shortly after Fabian Ruiz received a second yellow card for handball.

Napoli released a photo of Ruiz's leg on Twitter after San Siro's draw and blank, showing where the player had been hit by the ball on the leg, as well as the caption: "C & # 39 is the handball of Fabian Ruiz who caused the second yellow. "

Ancelotti admitted to having sworn by reacting to the incident, but he remains somewhat puzzled as to why he would have deserved to be deported.

"I said a big word, although this is not meant for the referee," he told DAZN. "I'm not even sure it's still considered an insult!"

Odds were rare in the match, with Piotr Zielinski missing the clearest opening of Napoli and David Ospina making a perfect stop to deny Mateo Musacchio on the other end.

Ancelotti was frustrated by the lack of control of his team, but he does not consider the title race to be beyond his team, even though Juventus will get 11 points in advance if it beats Lazio on Sunday.

"It's always very open, we have to do our own work and there are still a lot of matches," he said.

"I was expecting Milan to have a defensive approach, because they use lines of five and it's hard to overcome.We have unfortunately eased them with a slow pace.

"We did not make a good transition and we allowed them too many counter-attacks, we were obviously out of balance, we did not control the match."

Ancelotti has praised the fans of Milan after the match. It was Napoli's first victory in San Siro since Kalidou Kouliably had been a victim of racist abuse in the 1-0 defeat at Inter on Dec. 26.
