Can the new Daniel Bryan change the world?

The new Daniel Bryan is the best of Daniel Bryan

The new Daniel Bryan feels pretty unstoppable in approaching his title defense at the 2019 Royal Rumble. Does AJ Styles have the courage to stop the WWE Champion's momentum?

The story up here

After 371 days with the WWE Championship, the reign of the title Styles ended just a week before Survivor Series return match with Brock Lesnar. Losing to Bryan, a year before Styles, he defeated champion Jinder Mahal in November 2017.

After receiving many opportunities to upset Styles, a funny thing happened on the way to Bryan, who won the title on November 13, 2018. Bryan cheated to get the "W". Hmm.

Construction to Royal Rumble

For the remainder of 2018, Bryan was a changed man and a different type of champion. This new version of Daniel Bryan spoke of his heart and was aware of the environment. Bryan used his platform as a WWE Champion to spread his knowledge.

Styles and some members of the WWE Universe did not appreciate Bryan's efforts to inform the public about industrial farming, the dangers of consumerism and a host of other news items.

Over the past few months, Bryan has met Mustafa Ali with R-Truth, but would eventually return to Styles as his challenger at 2019 Royal Rumble.

The show of the go-home

Throughout the last arc of their rivalry, Bryan had the impression of doing most of the work. Styles may have added something different when he hit Vince McMahon, but the WWE did not add much more follow ups on the move.

In contrast, Bryan's transition from one of the best faces in the WWE, be it the alternative or the heel, has been flawless. Bryan was so good that the underdog that you wanted to defend for his 180 degrees as a man that many people like to hate is even more impressive in contrast.

The new Daniel Bryan is feeling too hot for the moment so the WWE is even considering taking away the title. Stranger things have happened, but will AJ Styles manage to thwart Sunday night?
