The Ashaiman Municipal Assembly (ASHMA) appointed him ambbadador of sanitation at a special ceremony during which a quote was presented to the Ghanaian dancehall musician for his unselfish and meritorious service to the municipality.

In reading the quote, Mr. Albert Boakye Okyere, General Manager of Ashaiman, stated that the Ashaiman-based musician had "put the name of Ashaiman on the world map through his music and art, hence the need to appreciate his efforts ".

Okyere called on young people to emulate the musician's lifestyle and do something meaningful for themselves to earn a decent living and respect.

Stone Bowy, meanwhile, thanked the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly for recognition and badured him that this would help improve sanitation in the area.

The Ghanaian dancehall artist said: "Ashaiman was a nice place and locals should be proud to mention it wherever they are."

He advised residents to use available resources to make Ashaiman a safe haven for humankind.

He reminded locals that poor sanitation practices could endanger the lives of innocent people and urged them to keep their communities clean and avoid diseases that cost so much to heal.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Patrick Tsigbe, municipal environmental health officer at the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly, said the ASHMA would prosecute offenders under its terms. sanitation regulations.
