If you ever wondered what a child looked like between the Joker and Wolverine, Krypton has you covered with Lobo – at least according to the star of the Cameron Cuffe series.
Yesterday, Lobo actor Emmett J. Scanlan shared a new picture of Czarnian, a fan favorite, on Instagram, giving glaring fans a fresh look at the character of the second season of the Syfy series and today. Hui Cuffe – who plays Superman's grandfather, Seg-El – weighs in with a strange, colorful and strangely accurate description of the character.

"Imagine if you want, the Joker and Wolverine had a baby and they raised that baby with a balanced diet of Bane's Venom, Glam Metal and Murders," wrote Cuffe. "That's Lobo."
That's exactly the description, but in many ways it's not so far from the cartoon version of the character. In the comics, Lobo belongs to the peaceful planet of Czarnia, but it is very different from those of his utopian world. He is a big fan of indiscriminate violence, drunkenness and murder for pleasure, and he has slaughtered all his people by himself, an act that has made him the last of his race. He is a formidable mercenary who travels the universe perpetrating murder and ruckus, while being a man of his word, even though he often neglects the spirit.
It is interesting to note that Wolverine's description of Cuffe is particularly interesting, as Lobo co-creator Keith Giffen has already stated that the character was created to embody or embody Wolverine and Marvel's Punisher.
The colorful description of the character by Cuffe will certainly spark fans' enthusiasm to see how all this is played on Krypton. The section on Lobo's approach to agreements is particularly interesting. Although it is not yet clear how the character will fit in KryptonFor the second season, considering that Seg-El was sent to the Phantom Zone in the Season 1 Finals, it is not impossible that Seg-El will meet Lobo there and enter into an agreement with him to return to Krypton.
"We're really excited to be working with Lobo because in comics he's such a broad, almost ridiculous character and some would say how he's going to work with the tone of the show," Cuffe told ComicBook.com. "It's a challenge with which we are very happy to work and I think Seg will spend a lot of time with him, which will be cool."
