Ronda Rousey faces Sasha Banks to defend her WWE Raw female title at Royal Rumble.
The banks defeated Nia Jax in the improvised match set up by the McMahon family to decide who would challenge Rousey for the belt during the flagship event.
"The Boss" emerged victorious from the first confrontation between the two divas.
WWE fans who hope to have a chance to hang out with the current champion will be disappointed with her wedding in 2017 – who is the man who captured her heart?
With whom is Ronda Rousey married?
Ronda Rousey is currently married to UFC fighter Travis Browne.
After the breakup of UFC star Brendan Schaub, rumors surfaced in 2015 that Rousey was dating Browne – who stunned Schaub during their fight the previous year.
Their relationship was confirmed and the two engaged couple got engaged in April 2017 during a trip to New Zealand.
On August 28, 2017, Rousey married Browne in her home state of Hawaii.
Who is Travis Browne?
Browne signed with the UFC in 2010, winning his debut against James McSweeney by knockout in the first round.
The Hawaiin set a respectable record with 14 consecutive professional fights, including wins against Alistair Overeem and Kickboxing legend Josh Barnett, which earned him outstanding bonuses.
However, Browne's career deteriorated in 2016, losing four consecutive bouts, including a devastating knockout against Derrick Lewis.
Alexey Oleynik, bid expert, was defeated in July 2017 and Browne has not competed since.
Although he has not officially announced his retirement from the sport, UFC President Dana White has admitted that he believes the 36-year-old should hang up his gloves.
Could we see Travis Browne join the WWE?
While his career at UFC is apparently over, the heavyweight 6-foot-7, 250-pound might be perfect for the world of sports entertainment.
Browne told TMZ Sports that he would not refuse the opportunity to join his wife in the square circle.
"She kills him, she conquers the world,
"She took over the UFC, she took over the WWE. I will never say no to the possibility of going out and fighting. I would love to go there and work with my wife. It would be so much fun. A mixed match? Oh yes, it would be fun. I would not say no, "he said.
