Mauricio Pochettino has been accused by Trevor Francis of not taking the FA Cup seriously after making seven changes to his team's fourth meeting with Crystal Palace.
The Lilywhites went under the microscope after losing to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semifinals last week on penalties, leaving the FA Cup as the only real chance to end the drought of the club trophy.
However, although he is undergoing a tough test outside against his fellow Premier League, Crystal Palace, Pochettino has chosen to significantly stir his game for the trip through London.
His selection angered former Birmingham City striker Trevor Francis, who believes Pochettino may have made a cane for his back.
"They have suddenly gained momentum, they are going to start to pick up speed, the trust is starting to fade, and then the press takes it from you," he told BeIN Sports.
"Two defeats in four days, the pressure comes next for the next game against Watford.
"They might surprise us today by defeating Crystal Palace, but it 'sa great opportunity for Palace today, their team seems to be bigger than the Spurs.
