The Blues goaltender welcomed his compatriot to Stamford Bridge when he arrived at the club and knows what motivates him
Gonzalo Higuain was backed by Willy Caballero to make a difference to Chelsea after the striker made his debut in the England Cup win against Sheffield on Wednesday.
Argentine international Higuain was warmly welcomed at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea turned away from his championship opponents, but the striker had few chances or time on the ball in the 3-0 win.
The boss of Chelsea, Maurizio Sarri, is happy to have found Higuain after their prolific stay in Naples, after the Blues have bought the loan contract from AC Milan to Juventus, leaving them the opportunity to buy it for 32 million pounds this summer.

Goalkeeper Caballero thinks Higuain can have an impact on Chelsea, but he thinks his teammates need to learn to understand his compatriot's moves.
"He has started training well in recent days and I think our teammates need to get to know him a little bit more," Caballero said. Goal . "Of course, Sarri and his staff know him very well.
"I also know him very well, but the rest of the team needs more time to do it.We will find excellent performance with him in our team in the future. It can do everything.
"No matter what he's done in the past with other teams, he can help Willian, [Olivier] Giroud, Eden [Hazard] or whoever plays next to him. He plays at a very good level of performance.
"It's too easy to say [his arrival will help us win things] but we have to see if he and the rest of the quality guys in attack can get there. It is easy to say that Higuain will help us or plan for the future but it is up to us to do it.
"We have to go step by step, he is happy to be here and with that we are able to win a lot."
The arrival of Higuain comes as Alvaro Morata is expected to join Atletico Madrid under a similar loan-to-purchase agreement after a period in Chelsea where he has struggled to reach the heights that many had predicted.
Caballero revealed how he played his part in getting Higuain to settle in Chelsea when the 31-year-old asked questions about joining the FA Cup holders.
"We have been in touch [about the move] Caballero added, "I gave him all the time that a friend can give to another. Also, as a teammate. We talked about the Premier League, the city, the club, everything.
"When you're asked, be honest and tell the truth, it's a reality, it's true and it's here, the first day is always a little stressful for a player and it was for him." is fun for me because I have been in the club for over a year and I look at it as the new in the locker room.
"It was fun to see him again and be part of the same team, and after a few minutes it became natural."
As for Caballero's playing time, the 37-year-old has found more difficult opportunities to find since Chelsea replaced his Antonio Conte rulers in Sarri, although he has always been named as a substitute.
Along with David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Olivier Giroud, Caballero is one of many players whose contract expires at the end of the season. However, Caballero remains happy with his life in Chelsea, his goal being to keep goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on the alert.
"In the end, we'll see what happens," Caballero said of his future. "I'm a free agent in June, but it's not a problem, I've experienced it before, so I'm very calm about it.

"I think we did a great job [against Sheffield Wednesday]. We saw this yesterday and today with Tottenham, it is another great chance for us. We must respect this competition at every stage. It was not easy to win today.
