The super-hero movie Black Panther won first prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG).
The box office success won the Best Together Award in a film, the closest ceremony to a Best Film Award.

Answering the question of whether Black Panther had changed the film industry, lead actor Chadwick Boseman replied, "My answer to that is … to be young, talented and black."
The only British winner was Emily Blunt for her performance in A Quiet Place.
The actress won the Best Supporting Actress Award for the film, which was directed by her husband John Krasinski.

The SAGs also honor TV stars and it is the series The Marvelous Mrs Maisel Amazone who swept the comedy awards, winning the award for best ensemble in a comedy series, as well as the best actress in a comedy series for Rachel Brosnahan in a humorous series for Tony Shalhoub.
The prize for best ensemble in a television series has been awarded to This Is Us.
The best actor went to Jason Bateman for Ozark, Sandra Oh in honor of Best Actress for Killing Eve.
Patricia Arquette for Escape at Dannemora and Darren Criss for The Assbadination of Gianni Versace are among the other winners of television.
Black Panther also won the best performance of a set stuntman.
