A tree made famous by the HBO show Game of thrones was uprooted because of high winds.
Dark Hedges, a beech tunnel that played an important role in the second season, is located in Northern Ireland, on the Bregagh Road, near Armoy.
The site was hit by strong winds over the weekend. The tree fell on Saturday night (January 26).

Game of thrones Fans around the world traveled to the area to take the road.
The trees were planted more than 200 years ago at the entrance to the Stuart family mansion, Gracehill House. There were originally 150 trees, but that number has since fallen to around 90.
Northern Ireland has been hit by severe weather warnings as snow recently hit Belfast.
