Tadi Abductions The three girls abducted in Takoradi

Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo Danquah, deputy police commissioner of the director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), badured the families whose children were kidnapped in Takoradi that they will soon be reunited.

DCOP Tiwaa Addo Danquah said this in an exclusive interview with Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan, of Empire News, after meeting with the three families in separate meetings on Saturday, January 26, 2018.

The three (3) girls identified as Priscilla Blessings Bentum, Ruth Quayeson and Priscilla Mantebeah Koranchie were abducted between August and December, respectively in Kansawrodo, Butumagyebu (BU) and Nkroful in the metropolis Sekondi-Takoradi.

She stated that they had doubled and quadrupled their search for victims and that they would find them again soon: "… if I say very quickly, I can not break it down, it could be today, or just after talking to you or several hours after talking. to you but can badure you that we, the police, leave nothing to chance ".

The police, especially those in the Western Region, have been heavily criticized by some of the population for doing little, a comment that the police refuted.

DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa told Ohene-Gyan that the police would tell her story as soon as she would have found the girls, but for now, she will not broadcast much information as they could affect their operations.

"They should trust the Ghana Police Service, we are doing our best and let me also say that even though the Police Service is doing its best to ensure the highest level of security, we also need to be aware of our personal safety. She advised.

The CID officer also went to Tarkwa, where police are also investigating another suspected case of abduction of a freshman from Tarkwa High School.

DCOP Maame Yaa Tiwaa is the second government official to visit families after Essikado-Ketan MP Joe Ghartey.
