Mole Sports examines how Liverpool could line up to face Newcastle United in the middle of the week.

Liverpool continue their Premier League title charge Wednesday night with a home match against The city of Leicester.

The Reds have won two consecutive games before their eleven-day rest, which has led them to travel to Dubai for warm weather training.

Jurgen Klopp I will be grateful to see two or three regular members return for mid-week selection, but there are also gaps that need to be filled – especially in the right back.

Right here, Sports mole look how Liverpool could line up against Leicester at Anfield.

Possible Liv XI vs. LEI

Outside: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee), Joe Gomez (ankle), Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee), James Milner (suspended)
doubtful: Dejan Lovren (tendon), Georginio Wijnaldum (knee), Virgil van Dijk (disease)

Alexander-Arnold and Gomez were injured in the knee and ankle, while Nathaniel Clyne was shipped on loan earlier this month.

To make matters worse for Klopp, the man in charge of temporarily replacing the right-back, versatile Milner, was given a red card in the win against Crystal Palace. Fabinho is the most likely candidate to fall into the backline.

Klopp however has plenty of cover in the midfield, with Wijnaldum expected to come back from a knee problem in time.

Elsewhere, Lovren has resumed training after spending time on the sideline, but may have more time before being sidelined alongside van Dijk, himself struggling with an illness.
