Dinesh Vijan, producer of Luka Chuppi, said about the song: "Poster Lagwa Do was the first song we selected for this album. In fact, well before we knew how we could use it, we acquired it. It turns out that it fits so well in our plot. The video was super fun too. It's rare to use the full cast in a promotional song because it's not easy to get everyone together. But everything worked and it looks great.
Just one day before the release of the song, Kartik Aaryan posted a video on Instagram with him and Kriti Sanon giving us a preview of the song while Akshay Kumar joined them to shake his leg. Katrik had captioned the video as follows: "Aaaaaaa aeeeeiiinnnn. Poster lagenge fir ek baar, jab saath hung, MOTHER FAVORI, Mr. KHILADI @akshaykumar. #PosterLagwaDo Thank you @akshaykumar sir "
Luka Chuppi is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The film should also be released on March 1 with Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Alka Amin and Vinay Pathak.
