Whether you are an ordinary citizen, a suburban citizen or a member of the royal family, one truth remains: it is not easy to be a parent. Anyone with children knows how hard it can be to meet their daily needs. One of the best things parents can do for the first time is to watch and learn from other parents, and maybe learn a little more about how to raise their own child. Fortunately, Meghan Markle, who will soon be welcoming her first child with her husband, Prince Harry, has a fantastic example to admire in her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton.

Kate Middleton is a practical mom

The royal family has in the past received negative reviews because of its decades-long practice of recruiting nannies for all their young children. Although Kate Middleton and Prince William have hired help for their three grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, they are probably the craziest and most practical parents that the family Royal has seen until now. Prince William probably learned a lot about the parenting role of his mother, the late Princess Diana, who was hired to be one of the most famous mothers of her time.

Prince William and Duchess Kate are visibly affectionate with their children and are often seen hugging and kissing them. Kate Middleton often puts herself at eye level with her children, which can help them feel better understood. The royal couple also shares the responsibilities of parenting equally, realizing that their children need the direction of both. Members of the royal family are often photographed at parties or events with children, often with their young children, like any other family.

The difficulties of parenthood

Being royal does not mean it's easier to raise children. Kate Middleton has talked a lot over the years about the difficulties she has had with her three children, especially since nothing can really prepare you for the emotional burden of parenting.

In a recent conversation between the Duchess and one of the family's favorite organizations, the Family Action charity, she spoke at length about the difficulties she had faced in raising children. The Duchess admitted that even though the baby is small, there can often be support for new parents, but that support gradually diminishes as the child grows older. Kate said that parents always needed counseling throughout the trip and that the difficulties could only get worse over time if the father and mother did not get the proper help.

Although Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton have very different personalities and interests, the two duchesses share a very important trait: they are both down-to-earth and dedicated to the family. Kate Middleton was raised in a close family and Meghan Markle has particularly close ties to her mother, Doria Ragland. A relaxed nature can be incredibly useful for raising a child, especially during the first exhausting months. Fortunately, the rumors that Meghan Markle and the Duchess Kate have had a flaw do not seem grounded, and the two royal women will be able to make more connections than ever in the coming months.
