Earl Sweatshirt recently talked about his next album, but he's not done yet to support his latest effort, last year's one. Some rap songs: Sweatshirt has just shared "Nowhere, Nobody", an eight-minute short film featuring the music of the album, and announced a tour of support for the album.
The film, which was directed by Naima Ramos-Chapman and Terence Nance, features Earl coaching a basketball team of young players to victory, performing a guided tour of the museum, etc. The film is of a relatively abstract nature, but it seems to speak of the death of Earl 's father, poet and South African political activist, Keorapetse Kgositsile: the last shot is an open coffin, the closed half draped with black and white. a flag half-filled with hands of white clay.
He also announced the "FIRE IT UP!" Tour, which will also feature Bbymutha, MIKE, Na-Kel Smith, Liv.e and Black Noise. See "Nowhere, Nobody" above and find the dates of the next Sweatshirt tour below.
