A friend who accompanied him to India confirmed his death to Kofi TV.
The artist, formerly known as Daddy Lumba Jnr, had been in a coma for a few weeks since the operation at the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences in Mukundapur, India.
Anokye Supremo took some time to raise funds by donating for surgery in India.

Brain tumour
Anokye Supremo was struggling with a brain tumor that had left him partially blind since October 2018.

Anokye Supremo, who called Daddy Lumba Junior for his similar appearance and style, changed his name following a lawsuit filed by Daddy Lumba against him for impersonation.
He further alleged that Anokye had always been mistaken for him since appearing on a reality television show produced in Africa by television, "Just Like You," which had been produced in 2010.
According to the young artist who was always inspired by Dad Lumba, he decided to change his name to avoid the wrath of his "godfather".
