In a statement released Wednesday, January 30 by New Summerfield ISD, clbades are canceled on Thursday, Jan. 31 and Friday, Feb. 1 due to a widespread illness.
"Due to the high number of students absent with confirmed flu and other illnesses, New Summerfield ISD schools will be closed on Thursday and Friday, and clbades will resume on Monday, February 4th."
Parents / guardians had the opportunity to pick up the students early on Wednesday, January 30th.
