Millions of users of XRP, Bitcoin and Ethereum poised to break a new milestone on the Lightning network, here's a glimpse into the history of crypto.
Crypto Whales
In the last 12 hours, large amounts of crypto are in motion. None of the transfers appear to be traders ready to sell.
The largest transactions are related to Ripple, which holds approximately 60% of XRP's total offering. In a single transaction, Ripple sent 40,000,000 XRP, worth $ 12.9 million, from its OTC distribution portfolio to a separate portfolio owned by the company.

Shortly thereafter, an additional $ 26,000,000 XRP, valued at $ 8.3 million, was transferred from an unknown portfolio to a portfolio owned by Ripple. At the same time, an additional 13,000,000 XRP valued at $ 4.1 million was transferred between two unknown portfolios.
In addition, a big Bitcoin whale surfaced, from 3,284 Bitcoins, worth $ 11.4 million, from the crypto exchange Poloniex to an unknown portfolio. Whale watchers also spotted a multi-million dollar Ethereum transaction, $ 2.4 million from BitUNio crypto-trading to an unknown wallet.
Bitcoin
The Bitcoin Lightning Network has taken a new step.
The overall capacity of the network has reached 600 BTC, according to data from the 1ML monitoring resource. The sizing solution is designed to help Bitcoin resize and speed up transactions.

Litecoin's creator, Charlie Lee, is looking closely at how to implement confidentiality transactions on the Litecoin network.
After announcing that confidential transactions would be launched on the Litecoin this year, Lee posted on Twitter a photo showing that he was doing his homework.
