Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison have not seen each other for a long time – but their differences could not be more striking if their respective viewers had enough.
Last night, Charlotte's second series, The Charlotte Show, was launched on MTV, but also Vicky's first film, Vicky Pattison: The Break Up on TLC, which did not document the day of the wedding that she was hoping for. but the consequences of his heartbreaking rupture of John Noble.
And both channels had decided to broadcast both programs in the same time slot of 22h, which meant that Geordie Shore viewers had to make a heartbreaking decision as to how to retain their loyalty.
Charlotte announced her second series with a wild party, inviting celebrities, journalists and cameras in her own home in Newcastle to watch the show on her huge TV.
Meanwhile, Vicky was sitting at a friend's house with a hamburger and was becoming increasingly drunk as she watched herself sobbing on the screen with her mother.
Boyfriend Joshua Richie, DJ Tom Zanetti, Cally Jane Beech and former co-stars Holly Hagan, James Tindale, Abbie Holborn and Sophie Kasaei joined Charlotte as she opened the doors of her party house .
Kendall Rae Knight (Love Island), Kady McDermott, Georgia Steel and Ellie Brown, as well as Bobby Norris and Shelby Tribble from TOWIE, were also present.
She had done everything possible to prepare for her party in her multi-million-pound mansion, splashing real flower walls and huge bright letters in her garden that described The Charlotte Show.
Charlotte also had 600 scattered balloons and a DJ box, where an electric saxaphonist entertained the hordes at the end of the show.
A box of horses converted into a bar was installed outside, serving tonic gin and beer to the thirsty crowd, while plates full of cheese, cold and raw vegetables were placed nearby.
After the party, Charlotte distributed gift bags sponsored by In The Style and wrapped by her mother to all the party goers, before ordering them on a bus to take them to the party at Dirtiz in downtown Newcastle.
Speaking of mud as she hugged Josh in the coach, Charlotte was telling her Instagram followers: "I really can not believe the carnage, I know it will be a big party, but wow.
"I just found my boyfriend, whom I did not see all night."
While Charlotte was celebrating in the North, Vicky was planning a much wiser party in London.
The heartbroken star celebrated his reality by visiting his buddy James Rudland with his other mate, DJ Gavin Foord.
Vicky wrote: "I think I'm ready … Gin, Big Macs with bacon, some jams and some of the best people I've ever met in my life … … if that's not enough. is not the best way to watch TV, I do not know what it is? !! "
As she approached 10 pm, Vicky swallowed gin after gin up to psyche herself.
"McDonald's desire and attention. Two gins downstairs, I'm super nervous," she wrote on Instagram.
"Argh! C is happening, I just told myself that it's going to be hard to watch, it's a good thing I'm pissed off."
Vicky managed to get through the first part of her show with a huge box of tissues in front of her.
"We play a drinking game where I have to have a drink every time I cry on the screen.I am f ** king of mortal! God I hate what this man did …" she.
"I love my mother, she is so wise, the first part of the separation was hard to watch, so I'm sorry if it was difficult for you, but trust me, it'll get better – I'm not do not cry now. "
Later, a well refreshed Vicky revealed that she was "so pissed off" that she climbed to the back of a cab with Gavin to sing ballads.
Once close friends, Vicky and Charlotte do not speak after a long quarrel.
Vicky revealed last year that they broke up and that they "do not move in the same circles anymore".
She added, "Since I left Geordie Shore, I've moved everywhere and moved to London, I wish them all the best of luck and although I do not see them, I know what they do and I think they are all fine. "
