The National Democratic Congress is holding a secretary to deal with issues related to the Ayawaso-West Wuogon elections, including the vote at the Baweleshie center, which was marked by violent clashes.
Some national security agents reportedly fired at a polling center in La Bawaleshie, injuring about six people suspected of being NDC supporters.
Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, national president of the NDC, then told the media that the party candidate was withdrawing from the elections for security reasons.
Meanwhile, party members invaded the party headquarters to express their dissatisfaction with the decision of the leadership and the series of events that took place in Baweleshie.
