Chelsea fans will be happy to close the January transfer window after much talk about Callum Hudson-Odoi's future this month.
The 18-year-old has only played 11 games in all competitions so far this season and he has been closely badociated with a move to Bayern Munich.
The German giants have failed with four offers and the player himself has even submitted a transfer request to try to force a move to the Allianz Arena.
Hudson-Odoi impressed this season when it was played by Maurizio Sarri, but he watched the Wednesday night horror show in Bournemouth from the stands after failing to be part of the team .
With some Chelsea fans worried that Bayern might try to seduce him in the Bundesliga, manager Niko Kovac said the defending champions would not be looking to strengthen their squad before tonight's deadline.
"It is certain that other clubs do not want their good players to leave," Kovac said at a press conference, as reported by Sky Sports.
"We have a great team now, almost all players are fit again, so Franck and Arjen train, so I have to leave one, two at home anyway. It's not logical for us to have three or four more players.
"We have an excellent team, excellent players and we will use them until the end of the season."
