Barcelona spent a few busy hours on the market offering the transfer of Jean-Clair Todibo today.
The defender Toulouse aged 19 was about to move freely to the title of champion of the Liga this summer after accepting the terms of the contract, but the Blaugrana have chosen to sign earlier than expected.
Todibo has signed a four and a half year contract with Blaugrana and will have his official contract signature, press conference and unveiling tomorrow.
Having made his professional debut at the start of the season, the French international under 20 was stuck in Toulouse after refusing to sign a new contract with the club and played his last game in November.
But he is now embarking on a dream with Barca, sharing a lodge with the one and only Lionel Messi, as well as a large number of other world-clbad players.
And he also received a pretty big jersey number. Denis Suarez left the No. 6 after being loaned to Arsenal. It is of course famous for being worn by the legendary Xavi Hernandez, who has won eight La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies with Barcelona.
Todibo was not the only deal that Barca tied up today. They also confirmed an agreement with Atletico Mineiro to bring Emerson into a 12 million euro contract.
The 20-year-old will make the change at the beginning of the summer transfer window.
