The Fiji Water Girl was the star of the 76th annual Golden Globe Awards, while she was photographing the big and good thing of Hollywood posing on the red carpet.
She became the star of the night after staying behind the stars on the red carpet with her Fiji Water set.
By the end of the night, more than 50,000 tweets had mentioned his presence on the red carpet and the phenomenon was born.
Fast forward to the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) last weekend and she was again seen on the red carpet – fashionable.
This time it was not Kelleth Cuthbert himself but a cut-out version of cardboard and the model that caused a sensation was not happy that his image was used.
Kelleth, whose real name is Kelly Steinbach, is now suing Fiji Water and its parent company, The Wonderful Company, for allegedly creating a marketing campaign without her authorization.
Despite last-minute negotiations with the 31-year-old model agent, Fiji Water would have cut.
In court filings, Kelleth alleged that Fiji Water exploited his image and likeness and offered him "gifts to attract" his permission.
She is now demanding payment, but Fiji Water has refuted Kelleth's claims and said the lawsuit was "frivolous and totally unfounded".
In a statement to People, the company said it had "negotiated a generous deal with Cuthbert that it flagrantly violated".
Kelleth claimed that she did not intend to become the star of the series, but rather to watch the camera at the right time.
She said that with so many photographers and the number of stars on the red carpet, it would still be possible for her to be in the bottom of the screen.
Now, she wants Fiji Water to pay what she feels is a good money to use her image again as the awards season accelerates.
