Denis Suarez dropped a massive suspicion on the future of Barcelona after signing the agreement with Arsenal

Denis Suarez has been an Arsenal player for less than 24 hours and seems to have hinted at his plans for this summer.

The 25-year-old has been loaned by Barcelona and will spend the rest of the season in North London after barely playing under Ernesto Valverde in the first half of the season.

Before leaving Camp Nou, Suarez signed an extension of contract with the leaders of La Liga. His new contract is valid until 2021. It was designed to protect its market value if the Gunners decided not to choose the option to buy it permanently in the summer.

But has the attacking midfielder already dropped an important clue to his future?

After announcing his transfer to the Emirates Stadium, Suarez sat down for an interview with the club's official website and discussed his relationship with Hector Bellerin.

Answering the question "Who do you already know in the Arsenal team and who has been in contact?" he said: "I spoke to Hector.

"He wrote me a message when rumors began circulating in the press that I would join Arsenal.

"I hope that it will recover as soon as possible.

"It's a pity he's hurt because I'd love to play with him, but I'm sure he'll be back soon."

Unai Emery and Denis Suarez were gathered at Arsenal.

For Suarez to play Bellerin at Arsenal, his loan contract must be converted into a permanent contract, the latter not returning to play until next season due to a serious knee injury.

With regard to the current campaign, the Spanish aims to win again the Europa League under Unai Emery.

"I came here to play as much as possible and try to help the team qualify for the Champions League.

"I would also like to win the Europa League with Arsenal – why not?

"This is a trophy I won under Unai Emery in Seville and I would love to win it again here."
