Thursday morning, we covered the Turkish claims that Fulham had taken a tough position against Stefan Johansen.
Fenerbahce would have increased his interest in signing the Norwegian, but was met with fierce resistance from Fulham.
The Premier League club had decided not to part with the midfield during the January window and it was thought that it was … without surprises.
Well, according to TV2 in Norway, Johansen and his agent are in the offices of West Brom, which could be the kind of surprise that Fenerbahce probably did not expect.
He explained that the player is "en route" to a transfer from West Brom and that negotiations are underway to try to conclude the agreement.
Fulham is obviously not as firm in his position as was thought in Turkey, otherwise the player and his agent would certainly not be in West Brom tonight.
