Dr. Bernard Nyarko Appiah Kubi and his girlfriend Priscilla Asante were arrested for stealing cars
A young man identifying himself as Dr. Bernard Nyarko Appiah Kubi and his very beautiful fiancee, Priscilla Asante, were arrested by police for stopping a car in Konongo, in the Ashanti region.
Police confirmed to MyNewsGh.com that the two lovebirds allegedly plotted and stole the victim of his vehicle Daewoo Matiz under registration number GW 1638-19 in Koforidua, in the Eastern region.
According to the facts, the police had already received information that the vehicle had been stolen from Koforidua and was heading towards Kumasi and called all police checkpoints to watch.
Shortly after the information was pbaded on to all police departments, the suspect with his girlfriend was seen in Konongo and arrested by the police.
Later, the plaintiff Courage Normeshie Quarshigah stated that he was the driver of the said vehicle and that the suspect, Bernard Nyarko, had presented himself as a doctor and had hired him from Adenta to Accra in Koforidua and managed to steal it from Koforidua.
After a search in the vehicle, the police recovered a stethoscope as well as the doctor's white coat and some documents from the car.
Since then, police have arrested suspects, Bernard Nyarko Appiah-Kubi and Priscilla Asante, pending the outcome of the investigation into the incident.
