The actor Clive Swift is deceased.
The actor Clive Swift died 82 years old.
The British actor with clbadical training was best known for his portrayal of Richard Bucket in Keeping Up Appearances.
Clive died on Friday, February 1 after a short illness, a representative told The Independent.
The star would have been surrounded by his family at the time of his death.
Clive spent 10 years at the Royal Shakespeare Company before beginning his television career.
In addition to her iconic role as Hyacinth Bucket's husband, Clive also starred in the Born And Bred and The Old Guys series.
So sad to see that Clive Swift is dead. Another great actor that I love from the 80s / 90s.
Really sad when you look at old comedies and realize that a lot of the cast said goodbye.

Far from his main role on the screen, Clive co-founded The Actors Center, a meeting place for actors in central London.
More recently, Clive played in Doctor Who in 2007 as Mr. Cooper, as well as Yusef in Hustle in 2011 and Dr. Rafferty in Cuckoo in 2014.
Fans paid tribute to the online star, with one person writing: "So sad to see that Clive Swift is dead.Another great actor of the 80s / 90s that I love very much.
"Really sad when you look at old comedies and realize that a lot of the cast said goodbye, rest in peace, good man."
