21 Savage invites J. Cole to an elegant family gathered in the official video of "A Lot".
Today (February 1), 21 launches Black History Month with a very personal visual for its intro I am> I was. In the video directed by Aisultan Seitov, the Atlanta native organizes an official event with a black family in a large mansion. Dressed in black, 21 celebrates with his family and his success, while offering insights into the problems and problems that they have experienced in life.
After the family photo, J. Cole appears next to the group of 21 while he is wearing a black suit and tie to give life to his couplet. The video of their collaboration comes a few weeks after the fans realized that J. Cole's couplet was not included on the CD version of the album of 21. In December, a fan launched a Reddit thread sharing the new revelation.
"There is no feature on Cole but instead 21 has a third verse so I thought of sharing it with God," the user noted.
Although 21 or Cole did not address the issue, it seems that the song was left after a misunderstanding on the end of 21. Kei Henderson, one of Savage's 21 officials, confirmed on Twitter that this feature might have been replaced by a bonus verse.
"Lmao forgot that we had presented a different version for physics", Henderson tweeted earlier this month.
