During his pre-game press conference on Friday, Klopp revealed that Joe Gomez would not be fit for several weeks and that he had already been dismissed from the draw between the Champions League and Bayern Munich.

The Reds boss also ordered Trent Alexander-Arnold not to fight West Ham because his back has not yet recovered from a knee injury.

The back of 20 years was spotted at training while he was continuing his reeducation.

Liverpool has five points ahead of Manchester City, second, after a 1-1 draw against Leicester on Wednesday.

Klopp dismissed the gambling charges. The ground staff, at half-time, had cleared the snow from Liverpool's penalty area in the midweek draw.

"The first half, we had 80% of the ball, so only one team suffered and that's us," he said. "It was clear that our ground staff had tried to solve the problem, but they did not have enough manpower.

They realized how difficult it was when they started doing it, not before. There was no plan, no one told them, I can swear, to clean only our side or our box.

"I hear people saying that it's unsportsmanlike, but it's a benefit if their box is clear, so it's better to defend yourself."

"It's no coincidence that in the first half, we scored a goal in a box full of snow. It's like that, we can not change it.
