Eugene's mother, Mrs. Juliana Marfo, decided to surprise him by traveling from her home to Lynx Entertainment's office to offer a gift to her beloved son.
In a video of the surprise visit spotted by YEN.com.gh, the singer was seen sitting on a couch while he was crossing his phone.
In a brief moment, one of the ladies in the neighborhood heard from Eugene that her mother was coming. But Eugene who seemed not to believe asked if she knew the mother while he was staring at his phone.
As the cries intensified and reached the room in which he was sitting, Eugene looked up at the entrance to the room and now his mother was standing.
Mrs. Marfo was holding a large and beautiful cake as a birthday present and Angela's hit killer who could not hide her excitement shouted "Mom" as he hugged his mother.
Kuami Eugene is a Ghanaian singer-songwriter Highlife and afrobeat. He has signed with Lynx Entertainment and is known for many of his songs, including "Angela", "Confusion" and "Wish Me Well".
He has received the Best New Artist Award from the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and the Ghana Music Awards UK. He has also received AFRIMA's Most Promising Artist Award in Africa.
