Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold
Nana Appiah Mensah's father, better known as NAM1, threatens to publicly reveal the names of some people in positions of authority. He would have benefited financially from his son, but had supported a "stratagem" to make him look bad.
The father, who was speaking in an outstanding audio recording, claimed to be part of an interview with Zylofon FM, said his son had given a song of 51 million GH ¢ to the public.
However, he did not specify in clear terms why the money was given, but added that he would speak at the right time.
"These senior officials want to make my son the wrong person after taking 51 million GH ¢, but I will do it at the right time, because I'm not afraid of anyone," he said.
The father of NAM1, whose real name is easily unknown, revealed that "we will curse all those who took money from my son and call him a thief. If my son stole something from you, move it forward and expose it. I have evidence of the money collected from my son and I will expose them all. Time will tell us."
This follows the ongoing "fraud" involving NAM1, also owner of Zylofon Music, Zylofon TV, Zylofon FM, among others.
On Tuesday, the Bureau of Economic and Organized Crime (EOCO) obtained a court order to attack all properties owned by NAM 1.
EOCO has warned that any person or employee in possession of any property belonging to the distressed CEO must report to its headquarters in Accra or constitute contempt of court.
A few hours after the warning, Zylofon TV and Zylofon FM also issued a statement in which they announced that they had suspended their activities as of January 30, 2019.
