Will Ferrell offers his fans the resumption of his iconic role
Will Ferrell returns as Ron Burgundy in a trailer for a new podcast Presenter character taking up hosting duties.
Ferrell introduced the character in the 2004 blockbuster film Presenter: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, before returning to the 2013 suite Presenter 2: The Legend Continues.
The new podcast, simply titled The Ron Burgundy Podcast, is a collaborative project of iHeartMedia and Funny Or Die. It will be launched on February 7th and new episodes will be published every Thursday.
In the trailer, Burgundy poses a series of random "hard questions" that deal with climate change, Lars von Trier, etc. He then revealed that the questions were directed at a person disguised as a chicken. You can watch it below.
In December, Ferrell had revealed that he thought his Elf Christmas film could ruin his career before it was immortalized as a Christmas clbadic.
"Yes, there were times," Ferrell told James Cordon on The late show. "The first two weeks of filming have been a little outside New York, so you always know what this movie will be like and run around New York with yellow tights.
"People who are grateful for Saturday Night Live are going," Are you okay? What is going on? "And telling me that it was going to be a homerun or that people are going to leave," What happened to you? Why did you do that about elf? & # 39;
He also revealed that James Caan, who plays Walter Hobbs, was not a big fan of his performance. However, he reserved his judgment once it was clear that the film would be a success.
