Mr. John Awuah – leaves the UMB

The UMB Board of Directors announced the departure of Bank Chief Executive Officer John Awuah after almost four years of dedicated service that guided the bank on the road to growth.

The board gave no reason for Mr. Awuah's departure, but a message from his chair to Mr. Awuah said, "You are a strong advocate of team spirit and over the last four years we have witnessed a positive and positive transformation. We wish you the best in your future projects. "

Over the years, Mr. Awuah initiated and championed effective strategies with the private sector, as well as a partnership with the public sector on the country's development initiatives.

Projects include the launch of the PPM UMB Center and the growth of small and medium enterprises in Ghana through the UMB Center for Enterprises.

Under his leadership, the bank has created more branch offices and innovative products to serve its growing client base.
