Chelsea News: Blues players should be ashamed of Bournemouth's performance – Antonio Rudiger

Antonio Rudiger said Chelsea should be ashamed of his performance against Bournemouth on Wednesday night.

The Blues lost 4-0 on the south coast, forcing coach Maurizio Sarri to lock his players in the locker room for 45 minutes after the match as he looked for answers to Chelsea's performance drop.

Although Rudiger gave no explanation for what happened on Wednesday, he said the performance – which ended alongside Sarri after the club's worst defeat in 23 years – was unacceptable.

Rudiger called for calm after the defeat and felt that Chelsea's success for the rest of the season will depend on his mental toughness.
