World Cancer Day
World Cancer Day was booked on February 4th in the world. The Ghanaian version of the 2019 National Cancer Day program will take place in the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.
The historical program takes place under the auspices of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), the Kumasi Cancer City Project and the UICC.

Kumasi Cancer City Project
KUMASI has been selected by UICC as the fourth largest city in the world and the first in Africa to be part of the C-Can 2025 Cities Cancer Control Project at the 2017 World Leaders Summit in Mexico.

Visit of the President of UICC
Her Royal Highness, Dina Mired, will arrive in the country today and participate in several important cancer programs before she leaves on February 6, 2019.
