Suge Knight is serving a 28 years imprisonment for a fatal 2015 hit-and-run but we certainly have not heard the last of the former Death Row's honorary leader. Following his son's recent statements that Tupac Shakur is "back in the studio," Elder Knight insists that he keeps new music from the latest rap icon that will eventually be released.
Suge is serving her sentence at the Richard J. Donovan Penitentiary Center in San Diego, California, and has spoken with Daily mail Friday (February 1st). Despite the loss of control of the 2008 Death Row label, he claims to still have rights to some Pac tracks that have never been heard by the public.
"[It’s] not that they were bad songs, but these are songs that Pac did not want to release from an album or release, "Knight said.
Suge said that there was enough material to make an album and he has already launched the wish to appeal to leading artists to add worms to the material. "When it's time to make a real Tupac album, you have the right people working with him, with whom he works, you know, like Drake or … Beyonce loves Tupac's music," Suge added. Suge's son, J. Knight, is trying to revive his father's old label as New Death Row Records. He also spoke with DailyMail and insisted, "I will definitely bring new Tupac music for you guys, I do not want to be in the category of conspiracy theorists."
He added, "Believe me, Tupac is good, Tupac is good."
In 2018, J affirmed that "Pac is alive and live in Malaysia.
