Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie hands over the offices
Nana Ayew Afriyie, a member of the Effiduase-Asokore constituency, helped students in her riding by donating 600 double desks to selected schools.
The donation was intended to create an enabling environment for students to study well and improve their academic performance.
Before the donation, students sat on benches to study and write grades, which, according to the teachers, affected their grades.
The president of the constituency, Mr. Osei Adiyiah, made the symbolic presentation on behalf of Mrs. Nana Ayew Afriyie to the selected schools. This donation was in keeping with the MP's policy of ensuring quality education by making it accessible to ordinary Ghanaians.
He noted that the government alone can not solve the problems of the education sector and that; all stakeholders should participate to bring hope to many children.
