The five-and-a-half-year period of Marouane Fellaini at Manchester United came to an end on Friday when the midfielder completed his transfer to the Chinese club Shandong Luneng Taishan.
The 31-year-old, who has scored 22 goals in 177 appearances with the Reds, leaves the club after winning the FA Cup, Europa League, Carabao Cup and Community Shield during his stay at Old Trafford.
The departure of the Belgian international sparked many greetings from members of the first United team, Paul Pogba sending a particularly poignant message.
"My brother, I wish you all the best in your new club," tweeted the Reds midfielder. "I will miss you, man … thanks for all your advice, for your help, only some real brothers in football and you are one of them, I love you, my brother @Fellaini [sic]. "
