The Medical and Dental Council (MDC) will introduce this year a unique self-inking stamp allowing physicians to ensure that their services, including prescriptions, are traceable in the health system.
The stamp will include features such as the practitioner's name, designation, MDC registration number, facility name, signature, and date.

It is intended to provide indelible documentation by linking a practitioner to each medical record / report generated by the practitioner during his practice and by facilitating clinical audits to eliminate unregistered, unqualified and counterfeit practitioners.
The measure responds to the lack of a system to track prescriptions, medical reports and requests for laboratory inquiries addressed to a given practitioner, thus creating a risk of fraud at the same time. ;insurance.

NHIS
