Doha Bank holds sensitization session on cervical cancer

Doha Bank collaborated with the Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) to hold a sensitization session in January on cervical cancer, known as "Cervical Cancer Awareness Month" . The session focused on symptoms, early detection, preventionethods, risk factors and treatment of cervical cancer. The Doha Bank highlighted its support for 'Teal Month' by distributing teal ribbons to all employees and urging them to wear them to support the cause. "We are honored to be a part of Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, as well as being able to organize such an event with the Qatar Cancer Society, as well as educating and enlightening our employees. We will also support other types of cancer awareness and prevention initiatives throughout the year, "said Shaikha Noor Mubarak al-Thani, deputy director of the human resources department.
