Tom Brady releases a retirement update after winning his sixth title at the Super Bowl

Tom Brady insists that his sixth Super Bowl record does not change his retirement plans.

Brady, 41, inspired the New England Patriots to defeat the Los Angeles Rams in an NFL centerpiece in Atlanta.

The Pats have won 13-3 victories in the lowest Super Bowl in history.

Brady sent a brand card to Rob Gronkowski to give Sony Michel the opportunity to take off at full speed for the touchdown of the game.

Brady has already spoken about his plan to retire at the age of 45 and he insists that it is still the case despite his sixth league title.

"It does not change anything," he said after the match. "I can not wait to spend time with my family, my children and my wife, I could not do it without their support.

"It's been a great year, I'm so happy for my teammates, it's a dream come true for all of us."

Brady greeted the defense on both sides after the match at the Mercedes Benz stadium.

"It was an amazing year," he added. "We fought more than anything, it's amazing to win this game.

"They played so well, their defenders played well, they had a great plan and they made things difficult.

"We continued to fight and finally reached the goal and our defense played the best game of the year."
