Georgina Ama Amenyo reportedly visited her boyfriend and did not return home
Police in the Eastern Region arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a case of missing person in Akim Anamase.
The suspect, Joseph Prah, would be the boyfriend of the missing young woman, Georgina Ama Amenyo.

Georgina, a 20-year-old junior high school student, reportedly secretly left her home on January 12, 2019 to visit Joseph and has not been home since.
According to the East Region Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, the suspect admitted to having hosted Georgina for only one night and claimed to have escorted him to his home the next day.
According to him, a bra, a blanket and a pair of shoes belonging to Georgina were recovered in Joseph's room.
