February 4 (Reuters) – Clover Industries consumer goods company's stock price rose 19 percent to 23.80 rand after receiving a repurchase offer of 4.8 billion rand (358, $ 99 million) from a consortium of companies, including Brimstone Investment Corporation Ltd and the clover management.

The deal proposed by Milco SA Proprietary Ltd offers Clover shareholders 25 per share, a 25% premium at the closing of the company on Friday.
