Speaking during a special congregation for students who have taken master's degree programs at KNUST, Asantehene has condemned the recent student riots, stating that "this has embarrbaded the student". university.
To help prevent recurrence of the riots, he announced that he had appointed a committee that would soon conduct a thorough investigation into the events surrounding the October 22 tragedy.
Otumfuo said that "any obscene behavior of a student in the presence of female students, in the name of its culture and traditions, can not be justified under any circumstances," adding that universities apply regulations aimed at make university space tolerable for all.
